Our Mission
Here at Lindbergh, we focus on preparing our students for a life of choice and happiness. Our students’ personal goals and interests drive the tasks and projects we ask students to complete. We work daily to help students identify their passions through social/emotional, experiential, and personalized learning so that they may pursue their dreams.
Our Vision
Lindbergh Elementary will provide a safe and supportive learning community where all Eagles succeed. We will LEAD through:
- Learning together
- Engaging, Encouraging, and Excelling
- Achieving Always
- Discovering our Potential
Our Beliefs
- Students can—Every child can learn. Every child has a talent. Every child has value.
- Teachers make it happen—Extraordinary teachers are the heart of successful schools.
- Leadership is key—Principals’ responsibilities are strategic, vast and intense.
- Our community is essential—Our children and schools need all of us-educators, families, and community partners.
Our Focus: Habits of Relationships
Relationship with Community
Be Curious - We are full of curiosity, wonder, and awe about everything around us. We know that it is ok to not know something and we eagerly inquire to find out more. We ask questions, consider possibilities, imagine new realities, identify new problems, innovate, and create solutions.
Have Fun - We can find joy even in the most difficult circumstances. We seek fun in the large and small moments of life. We see humor around us and are able to laugh easily, even at ourselves. We are serious when necessary, but we have a blast with life!
Relationship with Each Other
Show Compassion - We have empathy for each other and put ourselves in the shoes of others to understand their circumstances. We consider others’ needs as we make decisions and follow the Golden Rule of treating each other as we want to be treated.
Give Back - We give back to each other through service, thanks, and feedback. We show appreciation for one another and offer help and support each other. We work to ensure that everyone can be her or his best self.
Relationship with Self
Work Hard - We work hard, often doing more than is expected of us, to find and solve problems. We take responsibility for our effort, results, and behavior. We do our best and persevere when things get difficult with a “fail forward” mindset. We operate with self-control and determination.
Stay Healthy - We take care of ourselves. We eat right, exercise, and get the right amount of sleep for our own productivity. We manage our emotions and handle stress effectively. We live in a balanced way to ensure time for our family, friends, and fun!
